This list of the best things to do in Orlando will help you make the most of this city’s leisure activities, including the famous Disney and Universal amusement parks that we already told you about; they are the great protagonists of this area of the country.
Although the city of Orlando does not have many tourist attractions, and in our experience, it does not justify a visit by itself, the most famous and largest theme park complex in the world is concentrated in its surroundings, something that will delight children and adults thanks to its vertiginous roller coasters, water slides, Disney and MARVEL characters and endless impressive shows, as well as enormous outlets for shopping lovers.
To get to Orlando, you have an airport about 5 kilometres from the city and 20 kilometres from the parks. However, many tourists prefer to take a direct flight to Miami (located 4 hours away) and make a route through the most beautiful places to see in Florida, dedicating 5 to 7 days to this leisure complex.
Based on the experience of the week we spent in this area during our trip to Florida, we leave you this list with the 15 essential places to see in Orlando. Let’s start!

Enjoying all the attractions and shows of the Magic Kingdom, the most famous theme park in Florida and the most visited in the world, with more than 20 million visits per year, is one of the best things to do in Orlando.
